Hello from Heathrow!   So yes, my flight from LAX was three hours late taking off due to some of the worst fog London has seen in a long time.  All seems pretty clear now, but I have another hour and half here in the airport.  The good news.... I didn't miss my connection and I don't have to transfer to Gatwick.  So maybe Heathrow and I can be on more civil terms. 

One more plus.... had an empty seat next to me on the flight over so no elbows in the ribs for 10 hours. 

Now the plan is Paris, hotel and bed.  maybe a few drinks in between.
