Kauai, Hawaii - Day 1

Well I've made it to Hawaii.  And I realized it's been far too long since I've posted.  And because it's been a while, there have been a lot of changes.  I left the team I'd worked with for eleven years and found an amazing new job.  A new job that keeps me pretty busy.  So for the first time I can think of, I was craving a tropical, relaxing vacation where I didn't have to DO much.  So here I am in Hawaii.

R and I flew in today and checked into our adorable hotel.  Ko'a Kea Hotel.  It's right next to the Hyatt, but has a much more boutique feeling.  So far, I've had two mai tais and two beers.  Not too shabby.  We then finished the day with a sunset dinner at the Beach House.  Stunning views there.  So here are the few photos from today.  Don't expect every day this time, but I will tease a little and say we're taking a helicopter tour on the 3rd that should be a highlight.  Until I have more photos....
